“Long Sixty” is one visual component for the poster exhibition-“Transpacific: An Asian-Canadian Literary Journey”.

The exhibition of Asian Canadian literature was launched in Kuala Lumpure, in conjunction with Canada’s Asian Heritage Month 2022.

A two-tone poster–“The Long Sixties”– presents the stories of Asian-Canadian Pioneers, and celebrating the first two Asian Canadian magazines, Overseers and The Asianadian in 1960s.

It was those publications in Canada to provide Asian Canadians with a dedicated forum to tell their stories and history. They became a platform for the Asian Canadian community to establish a sense of cultural identity and to “participate in the grassroots community grew”.
